Cindy is a third generation Colorado native who began painting as a passion more than 20 years ago. Though featuring watercolor in much of her earlier works, today she most often uses oils and acrylics. She aims to captures the awe and feelings through the subjects she finds near where she resides in the Vail Valley and Denver, in her travels and literally “anywhere it hits you”! She describes her style as always evolving, while often featuring bold color and lively brushwork in a loose, expressive way. Her aim is to capture the essence, spirit and joy her subjects evoke in all of us. She says “There is always something I see that I want to paint. Whether it’s on a hike, golfing or walking around the neighborhood, I get inspired to capture the joy I feel from what I see. These really are profound and magical moments“. Cindy invites viewers to join her in the happiness and wonder she feels when creating a painting.
