In a world dictated by data, processes, and procedures, art is a sanctuary – a realm where I can break free from the constraints of structured analysis and delve into the uncharted territories of emotion and self-expression. The canvas, whether paper or panel, is not just a surface for paint; it’s a portal to my innermost self, a place where I can push boundaries, explore the depths of my creativity, and ultimately, liberate my spirit.

My chosen mediums, watercolor and acrylic, serve as my companions in this journey of self-discovery. The fluidity of watercolor allows me to surrender to the unpredictability of the moment, while acrylic provides the foundation for bold experimentation and vibrant expression.

In my current process I paint completely intuitive acrylic abstract paintings. Then I employ a unique approach using code I developed to select a random photo from my computer files, serving as unexpected inspiration – whether it’s the colors, a subtle detail, or the subject itself. Guided by this surprise muse, I choose one of my abstract paintings and elevate it to new heights. Through this innovative process, I’ve discovered the profound beauty of finding inspiration in the present moment, with what is right in front of me, rather than tirelessly searching for it.

My art speaks to the serendipity of creation, the beauty that emerges when intuition meets structured abstraction. It’s an invitation to witness the fusion of spontaneity and intention, and to appreciate the transformative power of embracing the unexpected in the artistic journey.
