This year we asked the community to help us share love and support for our local heroes at Littleton Adventist Hospital who have been working hard caring for all of us in our local community. ROX Arts Gallery and Aspen Grove Center provided free kits to anyone who wanted to create a love letter, or they could make their own. Collection started January 18th and concluded on March 7th, with the cards delivered before Valentine’s Day.
AMAZING! We received 527 cards. We want to thank all who participated, with special thanks to Franklin Elementary and Chatfield High School for their generous efforts!
We also have to thank Channel 7 News for their interview with Patricia Jenkins to highlight this great project on their news program.
These Valentine’s Day cards will surely make all the Littleton Adventist Hospital health care workers know they are well appreciated by the local community and proud of what they are doing. We cannot say enough for your time and sacrifices you make every day to save lives.
