Joy, exuberance, texture, vibrant colors and the interplay of light, shadow and passion are what I hope to capture in my work – whether outdoors, ‘en plein’ air or in my studio. I am a fortunate artist, who lives and works in Colorado. The mountains, all of outdoors, varied seasons, water and intriguing skies are key elements in most of my work. My style is both impressionistic and expressionistic with the use of color, light, brushwork and emotion in my oil, acrylics or soft pastel paintings.

My work has been shown in Aspen, Breckenridge, Frisco, Estes Park, Steamboat Springs and Grand Lake, as well as ROX Arts, The Depot Gallery, Main Street Fine Art Gallery, Mary Williams Fine Art, Space Gallery, Core Gallery, Cherokee Castle, and The Old Gallery in Allenspark. I have participated in numerous Plein Air events throughout Colorado and Minnesota and am a member of Plein Air Artists of Colorado, Colorado Pastel Society, The Littleton Fine Arts Guild and Roxborough Arts.

My studio is located at artSPARK Creative Studios, in historic downtown Littleton - where I teach a variety of painting and drawing classes.
